About Dana

The premise of Dana’s inner work with animals is that every being has a point of view and something to say. Animals have thoughts and opinions that are equally valid. They are highly observant of what goes on around them and demonstrate remarkable insight and exceptional depth of knowledge. A natural gift and ability to serve as a conduit for the exchange of energy with other living beings must come with responsibility and humility; Dana approaches the art and practice of communication with complete dedication and respect for the process that unfolds with every individual exchange.

Dana has deep compassion and high regard for each and every animal. Her listening skills stand unique because she can connect with them on the deepest of levels combined with willingness to invest the necessary time and focus required for each one. Each animal receives enough time for them to feel safe to communicate comfortably about their concerns.

Animals are in our lives for a reason. Dana helps the human side to look beyond the surface problems of animal-related issues. She also helps clients develop individual strategies and resolve problems by integrating information shared by their animals.

Dana accepts requests for all levels of animal communication. She also specializes in two particular fields:

First, with lost animals, she is experienced with and has a high rate of success with ones who want to return home. Cases can be highly emotional and complex and she believes that both the displaced animals and their human families need extra support during these times and invests dedicated time and energy into every request.

Second, she connects easily with animals that have crossed over into spirit. Animals that have passed over often want to share important messages of great personal value.  She feels it important to allow adequate time to clients who request communications with their departed loved ones.

Dana also interfaces with non-domestic species and local wildlife when called upon. The vantage point of a coyote or an owl is equally valuable as a domestic cat, dog, or horse. By acting as a messenger for them  during transitional times of rescue or wildlife rehabilitation, it is often an important time to convey human intentions.

Dana was a student of internationally-known author and animal communicator Carol Gurney. She has been serving animals and people in both the USA and internationally since 2002. She is also a former professional orchestra musician and holds a degree in biology.

Dana has extensive knowledge of and practices natural health and raw diet for domestic animals. Knowledge of their bodies’ needs and the long-time practice of natural health add additional depth and value to her consults and information exchange.
